Please read the following paragraph carefully. As per the law of the state of New Jersey, Vehicles sold by dealerships in the state which are less than 7 model years old with 0-24,000 miles come with a 3 month, 3,000 mile powertrain warranty,vehicles with 24,001-60,000 miles come with a 2 month, 2,000 mile powertrain warranty, and vehicles with 60,001-100,000 miles come with a 1 month, 1,000 mile powertrain warranty unless otherwise noted in the description.
Vehicles which exceed 7 model years in age or 100,000 miles are sold mechanically and aesthetically "as-is" unless the dealer chooses to make an exception and supply the buyer with a warranty at the dealers discretion.
When a vehicle is sold which is less than 7 model years old and has mileage within the 60,001-100,000 range state law allows the dealer to sell the vehicle "as-is" whereby the buyer shall waive(give up)their right to the state mandated warranty when the buyer negotiates a lower price without the warranty.
